I want to create something that EVERYONE can be part of — to gather all the people on the planet.
Not just the loudest voices, the “perfect” activists, the strongest, or the ones who fit neatly into systems of specific values or identities. I mean everyone — as long as you have a care for better future for all living beings, you fit to be a part of The Heartline. I truly believe that’s most people on the planet.
I want to help people feel more connected, more hopeful, more real, seen, inspired, valued.
That we can start to believe that real change is possible, and that we’re allowed to dream about a better and more hopeful world — while we hold on to realism.
I want to create a something where we can come together and remind each other that we are here and we care — even if we might now be able to see it all the time.
That we can start believing that the world CAN change — and that we’re already part of that change, just by caring.
“The small string rarely see its importance in the carpet, but if it — and all the others — disappeared because they thought they had no impact, the whole carpet would fall apart."
Some strings will break off, but let’s not have that become our typical way of thinking or acting because then it will fall apart for sure, it would just be a matter of time.
That’s what this project is about.
It’s about helping each string — each person — see that they do matter. That they’re part of something bigger. That their life, their story, their actions count.
It’s about helping people feel seen. Helping them feel hope. Helping them act in whatever way they can, without demanding they give up their life to do so.
I say:
"We’re not meant to do this alone. We need each other."
“Be the change you want to see (to the degree you can) — you’ll see it spreading around you.”
"If I care — then I believe for sure that millions of others do as well."
"We don’t need someone to do everything. We need everyone to do something."
