The gatherings that are held work as a symbolic way of showing togetherness and care, and through the website we create a visible painting where the members of the whole world are able to show each other that they are still here.
When we picture a beating heart there is a quiet period between each beat.
The heartbeats are the Gatherings (the time when we come together) and the time in between is when we are fighting on our own fronts.
The goal is to keep the heart beating by showing up and gathering each month.
On the day after the day of the gatherings, members can go on the memberpage on the website and see the progress made from the past month.
Until the next gathering, we each do what we can to make the world a better place, to change our little corner, or focus on ourselves if that is what we need to, and of course help spread The Heartline.
There are 2 ways of gathering, making sure that there are ways everyone can take part.
Everyone can participate in the Online Gatherings, no matter where they are..
The members go on their member dashboard and click “mark your presence”. When done it will be visible on a global map for members to watch as other members all over the world also show their support.
Members can physically attend The Official Gatherings that are hosted by other members. When the members go on their member dashboard and click “mark your presence” it will also be visible on a global map as other members all over the world also show their support.
The Heartline has TWO kinds of gatherings. A Workshop Gathering and a Common Gathering. They each hold their important place and offer different ways of engaging with the Heartline.
The Goal: To give an opportunity to engage with more serious activities related to hope, teamwork, inspiration for a better future.
Typical length: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
Description: The hope is that members will be able to host their own gatherings and do activities that they feel excited about as long as they align with the core values (read here). They might host a walk together, collect trash, teach something meaningful.
Right now I host gatherings that teach people to practice thinking about a better future and to build it together.
Read about members experiences here.
Description: To have a time where people can hang out (come and go whenever) in a chill and safe space with other members, while also having some friendly challenges that invite connecting that people are fre to engage with.
Typical length: 2 Hours
So some things are not figured out or decided on yet, e.g. if the workshops will be the same everywhere or if it will be up to the members who host them, and what the rules will be.
